Recently, I caught up with a good friend of mine, Russell McLean. Read on to find out what this London-based bodybuilder has to say about training, diets, and contest prep!
Every time I talk to Russell the Muscle, our conversations seem to cover every imaginable topic: business, weightlifting, nutrition, the molecular complexity of water as it interacts with the body (hah!). You name it, Russ has researched it. What do I mean by research? For Russ, research entails masters-level textbooks from esteemed universities, published science/medical journals, and assorted published books. He explains it like this: “I just have to research everything and find out for myself. There is no one doing my contest prep and training for me, I have to learn and understand it.” To this end, Russ is an encyclopaedia of training knowledge.
